Matthew William – Newborn – {Winnipeg Baby Photographers}

It’s Monday today, and since so many people are not fans of Monday, I figured what better way to kick off the week than having the full post for this sweet little guy! He was a fairly big baby, being born at 9 pounds, 12 ounces, but what a little sweetheart! He wasn’t a fan of sleeping during the whole session, but he did give us some on and off napping moments which was great. Anyways, I know that Matthew’s Mom is excited to see the photos, so I’ll get to them right now!

I’m confident that once Murray the Cat figures out what Little Matthew’s crying is, they will most certainly end up growing up being Best Buds!

I also did a Birth Announcement design! What easier way for new Mom’s to display their images than to have us do all the work for you:)

Thank you for capturing the purity of the newborn life of my “Great Nephew, Matthew”. You have definitely given me a vehicle to get a smile with these photos for times when I cannot be with him in person. I love you, little Matthew…..Mom and Dad too!!

New Years Baby!

Well, he was born on January 1, but not quite early enough to be the first baby of the year in Winnipeg. Regardless, he’s going to be a heartbreaker! Seeing as how a little birdie mentioned that it might be his Mom’s Birthday today, I figured I better post a sneak peek of Baby Matthew!

New Year, New Happenings

Well, if you haven’t noticed, we made the decision to do a complete overhaul on the blog. Why did we do this now? Well, I (Amber) finally had time to sit down and focus on it. It took me several days, and a lot of learning, but it got done. I finally made the decision that if this is going to work, I have to stop making excuses and make it work. No more being scared of taking the risk.

So, now we ask you, as our blog followers, clients, friends, and family, here’s what we need from you. Let us know what you think of the new blog. If there’s anything not working, please let us know! Also, if you know anybody that could use some new photos, let them know about us! Word of mouth is huge in this industry. Also, let us know what you want to see more of on the blog. Wedding planning tips? Personal posts? No matter how crazy the idea, let us know what you want to read about! We will be continuing to revamp our business over the next few months, so stay tuned as things continue to change!

And since a post is not a good post without a photo, here’s a photo from our trip out West this past summer (Peyto Lake, Alberta – Notice how it’s shaped like a wolf… I also love how you can see the mountains so far in the distance):

Winter is here… I think…

Well, Happy New Year to all of our clients & blog readers out there! 2012 is here, and we are so excited for everything that this year holds for us and all of you out there! We still have some wedding dates available, so if you got engaged over the holidays, or are just getting around to booking your photographer, don’t hesitate to contact us, as dates are filling up fast!

Since we thought the weather out there would be frightful, we had planned on offering a ‘winter special’ to any little ones that are entering this world in 2012, however, we were wrong on the weather front. Don’t worry though, we still plan on offering that special:)Make sure you let any of your friends that are expecting out there know of this deal! They don’t have to be having their baby before the end of February, they simply have to pre-book before the end of February. And if you’re new addition will be arriving before then, that’s perfect as well! (See image for the Winter Special you won’t want to miss!)

In other news, if you have some little ones that are growing faster than you could have imagined, and would be interested in a Valentine’s ‘mini session’ please let us know. Depending on the amount of clients interested, we are considering offering a special Valentine’s mini offer. So please email us if you would be interested in this for further details.

Brett & Kevin – Engaged – {Winnipeg Wedding Photographers}

Merry Christmas Eve everyone! I am going to keep my babbling short here, because I know everyone is busy with festivities, and we are having a family Christmas this evening, and another one tomorrow, but I just wanted to get some photos up from Brett & Kevin’s fabulous winter engagement session. I still can’t get over how little snow we have, but at least there’s enough to call it a ‘white Christmas’. Anyways, we are so pumped for Brett & Kevin’s September wedding out at the Hitch N’ Post, but until then, here’s some photos from their engagement session at Assiniboine Park.
